The ISOLATE II range includes kits designed for the isolation and purification of total RNA from a wide variety of samples, including samples that are sometimes difficult to process. The kits are supplied with filters (shredders) and DNase where required, to enhance sample homogenization and remove genomic DNA. The ISOLATE II range does not incorporate organic solvents, thereby improving safety and avoiding bias in recovery between different RNA species.
The ISOLATE II RNA Kits have been designed to deliver optimal performance in RT-qPCR in conjunction with either the SensiFAST™ cDNA Synthesis Kit and SensiFAST Real-Time PCR Kits, or the SensiFAST One-Step Real-Time RT-PCR Kits. Additionally, the ISOLATE II RNA Mini Kit can be used to purify samples for PCR and RT-PCR amplification using the Tetro cDNA Synthesis Kit and any enzyme from the Bioline PCR portfolio, including MyTaq™ DNA Polymerase.
The ISOLATE II range also incorporates kits for simple, efficient column-based method for the isolation of miRNA and total RNA from a wide variety of starting materials, without the need for hazardous reagents such as phenol, which has been reported to introduce significant bias in recovery of selected small RNAs.
The ISOLATE II miRNA Kit has been designed to deliver optimal performance with the EPIK™ Panel and Select Assays in miRNA expression profiling and quantification using qPCR, microarrays, small RNA library construction for small RNA-Seq, as well as single cell assays.
The ISOLATE II portfolio incorporates kits for the rapid purification of genomic DNA from a broad range of starting materials, such as mouse or rat tails, bacteria, yeast, dried blood spots, genomic/viral DNA from blood, hair follicles, paraffin-embedded tissue (FFPE), stool viruses, bacterial DNA, biological fluids or clinical specimens, bacterial DNA and viral DNA from urine, insects, dental swabs and buccal swabs.

SureClean Plus provides a simple, efficient method for the purification and concentration of DNA or dsRNA from PCR reactions or any enzymatic digests, without the need for hazardous reagents. SureClean Plus removes primers, primer-dimers, dNTPs and proteins. SureClean Plus also includes a pink co-precipitant that can be added to the sample to facilitate easy visualization of the purified pellet.
